Darling and not so darling
Porter was so darling last night. Usually, in the morning when I go to work, he is still asleep, but occasionally he will be awake and I kiss him and hug him and tell him that I love him and that I am going to work. Last night, he packed up his "bag" and came over to me and kissed me and hugged me and told me he loved me and that we was going to work. Then, he went into the bedroom and pretended to type on the computer, like he was working. SO CUTE!! Also, exciting news, Porter slept in his own bed last night!! Yippee!! And Bryson can now drink out of a straw!!
Now, the not so darling. I had my oil changed by Walmart in June. Ever since then my car smells like exhaust really bad and just this week the check engine light came on. A guy at work advised me to take it back to Walmart. I did. They checked it and sure enough, when they changed my oil back in June, they forgot to put the oil cap back on. The guy told me that all the oil had spilled out and was burning all over the engine. Hence, the bad smell. Oh, and the car was running on no oil. They did a new oil change, replaced the filter and the oil cap. But, the check engine light won't turn off. If it is still on by Monday, he told me to take it to a mechanic and find out what the problem is and to let Walmart know immediately. I guess we'll see what happens on Monday!

Boys do the funniest things
Being the youngest child and having no boys in my family leads me to scratching my head at what my own children do.
It has been a hot summer. Over the last couple of weeks, it have been over 90 degrees everyday, some days 100. Now, I know it isn't as hot here as other places But, I still think Porter is crazy when he demands to where his jacket. . . zipped up. He fell asleep with it on and was sweating buckets! Also, notice the green socks. Those are my ankle socks that he found. He demanded on wearing those as well.

Sunday morning Bryson was taking a bath. He always drinks the soapy water and I was yelling and screaming (you know, the usual) at him not too. When I asked him, "Bryson, did you drink the bath water?" He said, "NO!" I think the pictures speak for themselves.

Notice the frothy soap all over his mouth and chin. Umm, I think he lied.
