My dog, Nikki, has been wetting everywhere! She has been going on the couch, rocking chair, futon and floor. Once, she was just laying on my lap, and it just seeped out of her everywhere. So, I decided to take her to the vet. I made an appointment and the doctor said that her problem in one of three things. It was either diabetes, a bladder infection or incontinence. He took her in the back and did some tests. He brought her back shortly and told me that she had a weak sphincter. This is due to her being an old lady dog and that her poor little sphincter is just tired. To fix this, she will need to be on estrogen to tighten those little muscles up.
This little visit cost me $50. I have to either pay for her hormones or put up with the pee. I wonder if I can just cover everything in plastic wrap?

Changes in the Wind
I got a new calling at church. They asked me to be the Compassionate Service Leader for the condos in our ward. Right now, our ward pretty much consists of 3 or 4 streets that are houses and the rest is all apartments and condos. They have called two people to be compassionate service leaders. One is me over the condos and the other is over the houses and apartments. The counselor in the bishopric told me that the need in our ward is great and that this will be a fairly involved calling.
Josh's brother, Jake got married yesterday at the Jordan River Temple. I posted some pictures of the wedding. The wedding ceremony was so beautiful and Jake and Stephanie looked amazing. It took a lot out of all of us, but it all turned out really nice and the food was great!

Getting My Finger Prints Taken
Today, I had to go downtown to get my fingerprints done for my new job. I also had to leave work early to go see the doctor. Sure enough, I've got the pink eye.
So, back to the fingerprinting. Fortunately, Josh's little sister, Becca, came with me. It was a good thing too. After we stopped at 7-11, we were on our way. As we made our way down the freeway, we were doing great, until that fateful curve when the rancid cheese nachos went flying. We had chips in places that we didn't know existed.
Once we got downtown and drove around for half and hour (trying to find the building that I didn't know exisited) we got the fingerprinting down. Becca had cheese from head to toe and needed a bathroom. So we went to the Wells Fargo building to the bathroom there. It was locked and we had to ask an employee to let us in. We washed and peed and and made our way back to the car. Once there, we realized that Becca forgot her phone at the fingerprinting place, then I realized that I forgot to get validation, then I realized that I had left me wallet. We are dumb! I'm sure the fingerprinting people seriously questioned why Ihad been hired.
It was eventful, if nothing else.
