It's All About Babies

This quarter I am doing OB and Pediatrics. It has been so interesting! On Wednesday this week I got to see 2 births and a C-Section. It was AMAZING! I really enjoy it. Everyone keeps asking me what I want to specialize in. Well, right now the economy for nursing jobs is horrible in UT, so I don't know. But, I would really like to look at women's health down the road.

Right now, I am just focusing on school and squeezing my family in when ever I can. On Wednesday night, I made popcorn and the boys and I vegged on the bed and watched a movie. It was great. We haven't done that in a long time.

Let the end begin

School started up for me again on January 3rd. The good news . . . I only have 6 months left. The bad news. . . this next 3 months will be really, really hard!! My schedule will be as follows:
M: 8am-5:30pm Work 6pm-2am School
T: 8am - 4:30 pm Work 5pm - 9pm School
W: 7am - 4pm School
TH: 8am-4:30 work 5pm - 10pm School
F: 8am - 7pm work

Whew! That makes for long days and lots of hard work. But, as the hymn says, "Sacrifice brings for the blessings of heaven." I will be making some huge sacrifices in the next few months, but I am confident there are blessings ahead!
