New Family Pictures

Today we did family pictures. I didn't do many of them when Porter was a baby and last year I decided to make it a tradition to do them every year. I love to see how much they have changed in just a year.

Here is Bryson last autumn.

Making Fishy Faces

On another note, I just finished my "early fall" quarter of school. Early fall covers 10 weeks from the last week of July until the end of September. I am SOOOO excited to say that I passed all my classes this quarter. It was really rough and I was REALLY worried about it. Now, I only hve 3 quarters (about 9 mo) until I graduated. I am scheduled to graduate in June 2012. So, unless I fail something (keeping fingers crossed and knocking on wood that I don't) I will be able to take the NCLEX (the nursing examine) next summer and be a nurse. I am counting down the days!

Happy 4th Birthday Porter!

Today is Porter's Birthday! Usually I get all excited for Birthday's and have a party, but this year, it was all I could do just to be home for his big day. Both the Grandma's helped out so much to make it special for him! Grandma Teri bought his this cake. He was too excited to wait until I got home from work and at the head before I got a picture. Oh well.

We also had a little celebration at Grammy Coral's House. She got him a frog/dinosaur cake. Whatever it was, it was cute! Porter pulled all the little blue dots off and ate them first.

As the saying goes, he made out like a bandit ;)

Today was also dentist day. Both boys got to go. Porter is an old pro at the dentist, but today was Bryson's first visit. As most of us feel, he hated it. The dentist also had some sad news for Bryson. No more pacifier. It is pulling his front teeth forward. Hmmm, who will suffer more? Me for taking it away or him for not having it? This picture is him clinging to the dental assistant for dear life.

These are just some fun pictures.

This is the boys with Grandma Betty and notice how my children have the dirtiest faces ever!

Sad Day

Today I got a phone call from Josh and he told me that one of the family dogs died. It was really sudden and pretty dramatic. Apparently, the little thing just started bleeding from his nose and was gasping and died. Porter and Joshua were absolutlely heartbroken. Both of them were sobbing on the phone and could hardly talk. I took some time off from work to go home and comfort them. Josh was there when Zues was born and held him as he died. This isn't a great picture (Porter is feeding him treats), but it was the only dog in the house that like Porter and my little man just cried and cried. It broke my heart.

It was a hard day. Porter kept telling Grandma Teri (who was the most upset of all) that he would fix her broken heart. He was so sweet!!
