New Year's Resolutions

Though some of you may not be believers in resolutions, I am. I never keep them and honestly, I can't even remember what they were last year. But, I still like the idea of starting fresh. One of my resolutions this year is to have one night a week to do activities with the boys. Today we did an obstacle course. We practiced going under,

On Top

And inside.

My pictures didn't all turn out great. Joshua bought me a beautiful new camera and I can't figure how make the stupid thing work. Sigh... You wouldn't think it was that hard.
This is Porter putting his baby to bed. Notice the pacifier.

After dinner, our favorite new activity is ...

To brush our teeth!

I hope you all had a great New Year. And don't forget to keep on those resolutions!

Christmas Wishes

Christmas Eve we opened jammies left by "Santa's Helpers".

Christmas morning we didn't get up until 9am! So, we ate breakfast first, then we opened presents. I was able to keep the boys from seeing the tree until after we ate and I got a great picture of Porter's face when he saw what Santa brought him.
Here is a close up of that surprised little face.

Porter received boots and gloves from Santa and he was lucky enough that it snowed on Sunday. I let Porter run around a little bit after church in his new digs. He LOVED it.
We had a wonderful Christmas and I hope you all did too!

My boys hyper. . . No Way!

Recently my mom told her that my children are very "busy". Well, yes. They actually are. Here are some recent pictures of the so called "busy"-ness.
Josh has been very sick with a cold. In fact, he has had a fever of 102 degrees all day. When I got home, I watched the boys (while doing homework) so Josh could lay down. This is how they entertained themselves.
Notice porter playing "golf".

A few weeks ago we did family pictures. Trying to get a good one with the boys in the leaves was a miserable experience for everyone, but the boys of course.

Sunday morning we always take baths before church (This will soon come to an end since next year we will have the 9am schedule!) This is would be Bryson SCREAMING because he didn't get to take a bath first. He even stood at the closed bathroom door pounding on it and sobbing while Porter happily played in the tub.
Then, it was Porter's turn to cry because his tub time was over. He was very mad at me.
So, as you can see, my boys are not hyper at all. Just busy!
