Has Anyone Seen My Voice?

So..... What happened to the good old days of take a Z-Pack, sleep on it and you'll be fine? Oh, that's right, I'm pregnant.

I've been sick for about a week and a half now. Yesterday, I lost my voice (completely). Yippee. . . . My blood pressure is steadily getting higher as the days go by. Today my Doctor asked me to visit her office today and I was sure that she was going to admit me to the hospital. That is what happened when I was about this far with Porter.

She didn't!!! YEAH!!! I'm so glad. But, now I'm on "bedrest" for the weekend and hopefully I will be able to get back to work on Tuesday.

Who Watches This Crap?

Have you ever been watching a show on TV, eyes glued to the set, and thought to yourself . . . Why am I watching this? This is the most stupid crap I have ever seen... I'm not talking about when you find yourself mesmorized by golf, cooking shows, infomercials or fishing. I am talking about TV shows that are just annoying. Still a Boy

This has been a very busy week so far. On Monday, I had another ultrasound. The doctor said that everything looked great. We told him that we wanted to be sure of the gender because at the last ultrasound, we weren't 100%. The dr looked at us and said, "Oh, you want to know the sex. The gender is determined once the baby is born." WHAT??

Josh and I looked at each other and decided that we are just really glad that he is only the ultrasound doctor and not my regular doctor. Wierdo. . . .

On Tuesday, I had a dr's appt. I as going once a month right now. At the end of April, I will have to start going weekly. I did my glucose test to see if I have gestational diabetes. Everything came back great. I have only gained one pound since I got pregnant. I lost 10lbs the first 3 months and I have only gained 4 back. If I just stay pregnant the rest of my life, I might get skinny someday. Ha Ha.
