Porter Cracked Open His Head
That was the text message I got from Josh on Friday when I was at work. I called Josh, thinking we would have a visit to the ER for stitched, but her was ok. Porter just fell and cut open his head on the drink holder in the van. Luckily it was pretty minor. But the poor kid had a big goose egg and bled all over the place.

Busy Weekend
This week I have off from school. It is my week long break before I start my last and final quarter of nursing school! This last quarter was super hard and I had to work really hard. But, it all paid off and I passed my classes with flying colors!
Next quarter I will have a career development class, a prep class to help me pass the state boards and my internship at the hospital. Then, I will done in June and ready to take boards!
This weekend we did lots of unf things. The ward had an Easter activity for the kids. The boys had a great time collecting eggs and eating candy.

When we got home, the boys were able to participate in the annual horse poop shoveling extravaganza! This is where Grandpa Craig has a load of horse poop delivered for compost and it is shoveled to all the garden beds. While the rest of us find this to be dirty, smelly work, Porter finds it the highlight of his year and gives him something to talk about for the rest of the year.
