Halloween and Fall Fun

If you know me at all, you know I love to dress up for Halloween. After much debate, I decided to go as a mummy. So, here I am.

Porter wanted to be a "Red Robot". He settled for Iron Man. Bryson, being the younger brother, got to wear Porter's dino costume from last year. But, don't feel bad for him. They fought over it this year and Porter only gave up on it when he tried to put it on and it didn't fit. Oh, and his "red robot" came with a mask. Always a plus. I had to work on Halloween from 8am to 5:30pm and had school from 6pm to 10pm. So I missed Halloween and missed out on picture taking. This is the only one that was any good. I thought it was funny. Notice the wild, post-trick-or-treating, look on Bryson's face. Appearantly he went berserk and was a mad man the whole time.

Today was beautiful. It will probably be one of the last beautiful, warmer days of the year. I took a few pics of the boys playing outside.

Wheeler Farm

Here is a video of Bryson the rooster. He does it once with his back to camera and once facing the camera. It's funny ;)

Pumpkins

Josh and I are not great lovers of pumpkin carving. Mine usually turn out looking like modern art and the boys get bored with it pretty quick. This year we found some plastic funny faces that you just put on the pumpkin, a lot like Mr. Potato Head. They were so cute and so cheap that we couldn't pass them up. I made sure to pick out some wart filled pumkins and I let the boys do them tonight. However, the pumpkins were much tougher than we expected, so much to my delight, I got to use the power drill and do some "pre-hole" drilling. The monster faces turned out so CUTE!! I love them and the boys had a great time! And, best of all, NO mess to clean up!
