Wheeler Farm

Here is a video of Bryson the rooster. He does it once with his back to camera and once facing the camera. It's funny ;)

Pumpkins

Josh and I are not great lovers of pumpkin carving. Mine usually turn out looking like modern art and the boys get bored with it pretty quick. This year we found some plastic funny faces that you just put on the pumpkin, a lot like Mr. Potato Head. They were so cute and so cheap that we couldn't pass them up. I made sure to pick out some wart filled pumkins and I let the boys do them tonight. However, the pumpkins were much tougher than we expected, so much to my delight, I got to use the power drill and do some "pre-hole" drilling. The monster faces turned out so CUTE!! I love them and the boys had a great time! And, best of all, NO mess to clean up!

The Witching Season

Today my mom and I took the boys to Gardner Village to see the witches (and of course the bats, mummies, spiders, skeletons, zombies and ghosts). We had so much fun. I am always looking for fun things to do that don't cost much. This was the best price of all, free! Gardner Village has tons of activites and even a dinner you can go to, but we decided just to walk around and enjoy the scenery. I would suggest you go if you can. You can go to Gardner Village's website and print out a "Witch Hunt" aka scavenger hunt too.

We had been there for awhile and needed a little boost to keep us going, so we got churros and hot cocoa. It was delicious!

There were TONS of really fun witch displays. Including this one that was the favorite of my mom and me. We love GREEN!

There were so many cute things there and I wish I could have afforded a lovely witch hat.

The skeleton was covered in glitter, so naturally, I loved it.

Afterwards we went to dinner and it made for a great day. Thanks mom! You're the best!
