Grateful

As many of you already know, I am going to nursing school. I work full time (9-5:30) and go to school 4 nights a week (6-10). It has been rough. These last few months have been very rough. The fact that I rarely see my beautiful children or sweet husband has only made me more grateful for them.

Maybe Porter will be a policeman when he grows up. He's been practicing his "cuffing" technique.

Or, maybe he will be rich and have a chauffeur.

He might even be a lion tamer (he started with something smaller and a little more tame).

In any case, I am just lucky to have the 3 of them.

Day at the Zoo

One of my most absolute favorite things to do is to go to the zoo. It really is. I have always loved it. So, you can imagine how thrilled and excited I was when Joshua told me last night that they (the entire family) were going to the zoo today, without me, while I was at work. . . . Thrilled. I was thrilled for them. . . Though this picture of Bryson depicted how I felt, I am sure it was not the theme of the day.

This is a picture of the resident tiger. You have to look really closely to see him.
And here are the elephants, mommy and baby.

Since I wasn't there to take pictures, I had a great time reviewing them. There were quite a few of the bird show. So, basically, there were a lot of blurry pictures of birds. But, like I said, I'm just glad that they all had a good time.

Fun in the Sun

Here are the kids playing in the sprinklers. This first picture of Bryson is the perfect look of his I love it/I hate it. He couldn't decide. But, they both had a great time.
