Happy 1st Bryson!

I didn't realize how many pictures I had until I started uploading them. Let's start with the big birth Day. Grandma Teri and Daddy were nice enough to make a cake for Bryson since mommy was at work all day. But, I did get to take the night off from school and we spent the evening together.

After we had cake and ice cream, we played outside. The Easter Bunny gave the boys a bowling ball set. However, Porter thought it was much easier to use the plastic bowling ball for a golf ball. He had a great time.

Then Porter found an ant hill. If anyone has an ant problem, please let me know. Because, Porter would be more than happy to beat those ants to death with his plastic golf club. He did a fine job on ours!

The Saturday before, we went to dinner with Joshua's side of the family.

Sunday after, on Mother's Day, we went to dinner at my parent's home. But, true to form, my camera malfunctioned. Therefore, pictures from Grammy Coral are to follow.

Does This Picture Look Familiar?

After giving Bryson a bath, I went into the front room to get Porter in the shower and much to my surprise, found him applying his own lotion liberally to his face. It was from a jar of Eucerine that I only use about once a year and he was dipping a Q-tip in the jar and shmearing it around his face, hands and feets.
Why is this funny? Well, about, oh I would say 26 years ago, my mother came into my bedroom and so pleased to find me in there with a jar of- oh yes it was- a jar of Eucerine and I was proudly shmearing it on my face. She has a picture of the experience in our family photos.
I guess it just goes to show that when your parents curse you to have a child just like yourself, it really does happen.

Easter Extravaganza

Last weekend our church had an Easter eggg hunt and bbq. Porter hada great time and it was such nice weather. He got about 8 eggs, which was great because last year he only got 3.
On the Saturday before Easter, the neighbors had a blcok party and did and egg hunt too. Porter loved it. However, he is usually shoving the candy from the eggs in his mouth as fast as he can find them.
These last few days I have tried to really cherish the time I've had with my family. Though Porter was sick and we didn't get to go to all the things that I had planned, we got to be together as a family. We spent time together, we played and we just enjoyed being with each other. Honestly, knowing that I start school and so much of my family time will be limited starting tomorrow, is really scary. But, I know this is the path that Heavenly Father has sent me down and I know that it will bless me and my family.
Here are a few more pictures of my cute kids.
