14 days left, but who's counting?

Went to the doctor today for my weekly visit. She said that I am dialated to a 2 and 50% effaced, baby has decended and has found a nice cushion right on my tail bone. My bloodpressure was not great and I have protien in my urine. This means that I could be getting preclampsia. Therefore, I get to do another (3rd time) 24 hour urine collection. YIPPEE!!

If it goes well, then she is going to induce me on May 11th. If things do not go well, she may induce me as early as next Monday (May 4th). In any case, little boy will be here sooner than expected, which is just fine with me. I AM SO READY!! Wish my luck and happy pushing!

Holy Moly

Porter has discovered a new phrase. I'm not really sure where he picked it up from, but HOLY MOLY! He walks around saying it all the time. The other day, he saw something that was really neat (it was probably something really neat, like a bug) and stopped what he was doing and said really slow and emphasized . . . Holy moly. What a cute kid!!

Cats Are Funny

Have you ever waved a flashlight around for a cat? It is so funny to watch them chase the light. Our cat gets so upset, she will meow and get so worked up. Porter found a little flashlight and thought it was pretty neat to let our less than calm cat chase it. He found it HILARIOUS!! I ran and caught my camera, but by the time that I started taping him, the cat was scared or Porter and running away. However, Porter was laughing so hard! I thought it was pretty cute. The video quality isn't great, so just pretend it is :)
